Stick Style
Between 1860 and 1890, many houses were built with horizontal, vertical or diagonal planks on the exterior walls and had large, overhanging second story porches, and bay side windows perpendicular to the front window. This style is fondly referred as the transitional style between the Gothic Revival and the Queen Anne. Some also refer to these houses as Eastlake.
