Queen Anne
During the end of the Victorian era, approximately between 1880 and 1910, the Queen Anne style dominated the British architectural scene. The houses were very elaborately decorated and had uneven surfaces. Queen Anne houses were characterised by asymmetrical designs, varied roof lines, large second story bay windows, turrets, balconies, elaborate chimneys, dormers, towers, stained glass decorations, wrap around porches, and rainbow of dark colour paintings.
